Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the installation services and products supplied by Ghost Retrofits. By booking an installation or purchasing a product, you agree to the terms below.

1. Quotations and pricing

All prices shown on our website are starting prices. The final cost depends on your vehicle make, model, year, installation location and any additional parts or labour required. We confirm the exact price in writing before you book.

2. Booking and deposit

A £99 deposit is required on all services to secure a booking. The deposit is non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed and the remaining balance is payable on completion of the installation. Cancellation within 48 hours of the agreed fitting date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

3. Installation

We carry out work at our Stockton-on-Tees workshop or at your chosen address for mobile bookings. Mobile installation may be subject to a call-out charge depending on distance. We need safe, dry, well-lit access to the vehicle and a working 12V battery. If the vehicle is not ready when we arrive, we may need to reschedule and charge for the wasted appointment.

4. Vehicle condition and warranty

We inspect the vehicle before starting work and report any pre-existing damage. We are not liable for defects caused by existing electrical faults, previous aftermarket modifications, accident damage, corrosion, or improper use after installation.

Manufacturer warranty on products is passed on to you in line with the brand's terms. Our workmanship is covered for a period agreed in writing at the time of installation.

5. Subscription and ongoing costs

Trackers and some immobilisers require an active subscription for full features such as live tracking, alerts, theft detection and police response. Subscription costs, payment dates and terms are set by the manufacturer or tracking provider, not by Ghost Retrofits. We will help you set up the subscription but are not responsible for future price changes or service interruptions.

6. Limitation of liability

No security system can guarantee prevention of theft or vehicle recovery. Ghost Retrofits is not liable for theft, attempted theft, damage, or loss of the vehicle or its contents after installation. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the installation and products supplied.

7. Data and privacy

We collect only the personal data needed to provide the service, such as contact details and vehicle information. We do not share this data with third parties except where necessary to register a tracker or warranty with the manufacturer.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the date of your booking apply to your order.
